THE BALANCED HOMESCHOOLER MENTORING PROGRAM

Picture
Moms can enjoy The Balanced Homeschooler Kindle 2019 early release edition by purchasing it through Amazon in Kindle format.  Plus, the paperback version is coming via Amazon the first week of January 2019.  This 2019 version has been substantially edited and updated.  For more information about this title, read the program overview or use the "Look Inside" feature on Amazon.

Structured into 10 units, 556 pages, 30 reproducible forms, and citing hundreds of references and resource recommendations, The Balanced Homeschooler mentoring program is written directly to YOU!  Regularly updated to stay relevant and challenging, it combines practical tools with encouraging perspectives that inspire
moms to intentionally plan and achieve the best version of their homeschooling and home-life priorities while enhancing family relationships.  Using Socratic principles of Q&A discussions that help new AND veteran homeschooling moms understand, balance, and enjoy the priorities of homeschooling and home life, it can be used independently, in one-on-one meetings, or in a group setting.

It is essentially a "Homeschooling / Home Life 101 Course" that is...
  • Personal
  • Comprehensive
  • Scalable
  • Flexible
  • Easy-to-use

Session proceeds go to support the Evan C. Gary Memorial Scholarship for homeschoolers, administered by the GCU Scholarship Foundation in Phoenix, AZ.
PURPOSE:  The intention of this program is to help moms create their successful homeschool household through biblical personal mentoring.  One unique aspect about this program is that moms not only have the opportunity to address all of the basic homeschooling questions and issues they have, but they can ALSO discuss and learn how to balance all of those new concerns with the daily demands of running their home.

AUDIENCE:  By connecting potential, new, AND veteran homeschoolers with each other in either a group or one-on-one setting, opportunities for every mom to learn as well as grow in their practical knowledge, spiritual maturity, and relationships with each other abound.  The text is written from an evangelical Christian perspective but any homeschooler can benefit from this program.  Mentors and mentees alike use the same manual.  Instead of a separate tool, there are many callout boxes peppered throughout that provide extra direction and support for the mentors.

STRUCTURE:  Structured into three main parts, this 556-page manual is a workbook/textbook tool set in a three-ring binder that also allows flexibility for moms to use it as central repository for related information they collect along the way that pertain to the various topics.  Part I (chapters 1-4); addresses all of the "Homeschooling Fundamentals".  Part II (chapters 5-9) helps moms learn how to "Integrate Life" with their home school.  Part III (chapter 10) is an optional unit for those interested in participating in or running a homeschool support group.  There are also hundreds of references and resource recommendations as well as 30 reproducible forms provided throughout the manual.

SUPPORT:  Those who also purchase the program (see options below) will realize full benefit from their self-study efforts as the material is written directly to moms with help and guidance along the way.  Moms also receive a FREE, six-month TBH Premier Program membership when you provide your proof of purchase to orders@thebalancedhomeschooler.com.  This membership is renewable annually after that for only $29.99.  Moms who wish to go beyond a self-study approach or the included "Chapter Chats" sessions that comes with the TBH Premier Program membership may invest in additional TBH Group Mentoring Services or a private consultation option.
