Note From the Author

Over the past twelve years that I have homeschooled our boys, I have been asked countless times by many friends and acquaintances for advice and input on how we practically handle a variety of issues related to home education and running our household. While I have done my best during this time to be helpful and available, I have often thought that I would love to one day put together a manual that would improve my ability to serve and reach these moms and their families in a more efficient and significant way.

That day has finally come and I am thrilled to share with you this mentoring manual called The Balanced Homeschooler.

Not only does this tool help me to come alongside all of those homeschooling moms that I would like to interact with in a more practical and personal way, but it also provides a mechanism to encourage other veteran moms to mentor and support up-and-coming homeschoolers.
